Desaturating and then actually painting the colors in is quite the lesson for me. i'm learning much about color [which still overwhelms me] in the process. The finished product is almost irrelevant to me and years ago i would have just deleted the piece you see here. I am quite appreciative, though, to have a place to share such things; always surprised to discover there are people who might enjoy it.
