Mackinaw Island -- how beautiful is it there?
Its beautiful. Now stunningly beautiful, but beautiful nevertheless. No motor vehicles are allowed there. You can only travel on a bicycle or a horse cart. It has a lot of American history too.
I went to Mackinaw City of Saturday, stayed in a motel, took a ferry to Mackinac Island and back, went to the casino in Mackinaw City (won $135!!!)and came back on Sunday.

Ashish, you know me too well! oxo jo
According to Anishinaabe-Ojibwe tradition, Mackinac Island is a sacred place populated by the first people and was home to the Great Spirit Gitchie Manitou
Did you see one of them Judith ?
I wish I did, but it was Ashish who went to Mackinac.
