Jozee, you can unlock your phone and use it with any service (as long as it uses GSM). Unlocking the phone requires some tinkering with your phone though...

yeah well you don't have to go through the torture of unlocking your phone yourself. there are loads of places which do it for you.

shishi, you know i'm a dork not a geek! i'm a techno loser. have you managed this in the states?

i know we are way behind with the cells we have available here. they debut the newest everywhere but here.

You need to generate some code, remove the sim card and switch on your phone. Then enter the code and voila! your phone is unlocked.
