It seems josie has been to some chinese restaurants indeed.
it is i who should be saying
shee-eh shee-eh (that's how i pronounce it!)

I was astounded when they painted the walls to this color. Though i came quite close to deleting this image.

Chris, your pronounciation is good for me, but there is so many different way to pronounce words in chinese, that probably Jo is right too!

Actually- Clo, I Americanized the spelling. I pronounce it the same way Chris does.

I see by your spelling of it you have a much firmer grasp on Chinese than I do.

Working with so many Chinese I know tho that the dialects are completely different from province to province . Sometimes we would get cooks that couldn't understand each other.

Probably not a surprise to you.
