I forgot to mention this earlier...I love you for telling me how to do this! I tried it on some pics...they are shite pics, but since I haven't been out taking any more photos, I could only try it on older ones...but the effects are great...thanks CSB...and this one is quite interesting as well :)
This piece [of X] actually uses yet another technique. All is desaturated, made B+W; add a new layer; paint red onto this new layer; combine layers using the color method. so i just basically lazily slapped red paint around like colorizing a photo.

I'm quite glad you are experimenting, madam 4D. Even if you aren't happy with the results of these experiments, you learn something. your mind shifts just a little bit; you expand.
