i like the red no entry standing out. how do you do this henri? you need to tell me how can you make just one thing a particular colour. and make the rest black and white?

the sponge tool in photoshop (oops, i use elements) can do it. It desaturates what it touches. so use this sponge everywhere but the part you'd like to be colored. Actually there is another way you can do it, a neater way, but i'll allow henri to reveal his magic-- if he will...

There is another way, a little bit more difficult, but it's fun...

You find the place you want to take a photo of, you paint it in black and white except the things you want to stay in color. Then, you just have to take a pic... :O))))

...and I bet for this one, this is the way Henri did it...

i copy the subject who have to be in color after that i turn the rest in black & white,sometimes it goes easy sometimes i´m buisy for a longer time but i love it !!!
