More Magnolia

Taken with my Digital Rebel and the Canon 70-200 f/4.0 L with the Canon 1.4x Extender. That is one sweet lens!

More photos from this series on smugmug and on flickr.

The Canon lenses... *sigh*
I worked with a Canon A-1 (yes, the Cadillac!) from 1978 until two years ago. Now, it need to be repair, but I will do it, because it is such a great camera. Hope it will work again...

Nice pic. Now, I'm just craving for blossom.... :O)

Clo, I never had an A-1 (just like I've never had a Cadillac). But I think those "L" lenses make the Canon EOS system the best photographic equipment on the planet.

Unfortunetely, magnolia only bloom for a few days in our climate. I was glad to shoot them when I could.

Is it the battery door Clo?
My old AE-1 (not P) is waiting for me to work up the courage to hand it to someone to fix the battery door.
The old AT-1 is just fine though.

Magnolia's have long since come and gone in bloom here, locally there aren't to many of them and what few there are near by are trees over 6 meters tall and a bit hard to photograph the blossoms at a satisfactory angle.

No, I don't think so, my battery door looks ok...
