The subject yes, but not the colors! Gary, you'll have to work more, hee, hee!
That's a good occasion to say that I think that it's funny to be on a team like Web-Pix, with so many differents people, and I think we all influence each other, in a good way! :O)
Clo: No post-processing here, that image is straight out of the camera. If I was trying to imitate Calvin I would de-saturate it.
Instead, I'm trying. through my own humble efforts, to pay homage to a Master.
Calvin: As Randy would say on American Idol, "yo, props dog". I think that's a compliment...

At 1st I was like,"How would he know what Randy(my husband) would say." Then, I saw you were talking about Idol! Pretty funny. I love that show. Thaz my dawg!

Gary, that's exactly how I saw it, an homage.
Now, about the de-saturation, I think Calvin's work on his photos is a little bit more complicate than that.
