Is the shop itself antique, or does it sell antiques? Or maybe both?
Nice of the photographer to drop off a print. I should really do that more often.
It was our home which yes, was an antique cape. The shop was in the barn for the rough stuff and in the left side of the house for the more valuable items.
It really was nice to get that print. Many people photographed that house and one person did a painting of it.
It was nice to get the photo again when I found it last year behind my parent's wedding portrait.
Moving from that house was a sore point in my parent's relationship. I guess my mom hid it there.
"behind my parent's wedding portrait"
I hope you copied it and returned it there.
This picture reminds me of my parents last house in the finger lakes.
It wasn't a cape but it has that same feel.
I didn't copy it except to my computer.
I really don't have anywhere suitable to store it so I was planning to hang it. (Copies to family members.)
Behind my parents' wedding portrait.
Ah,yes how telling.
That's a tale for Straw Houses.
Nice place Jozee:-)
Thanks Henri. It was. 4 acres, a field, river and woods.
Really a nice place, nice memories!
