thanks, brock. it is a close up shot of a scene i revisited a few nights ago. there surely is someone inside, beyond they door. i stare at it locked and barred and impenetrable. from banging upon it i have resorted to calls through the keyhole then whispers through the crack; and now all i can muster is a silent reach toward the knob. eventually i will just walk away from it.
