Don't get these in your eye
Ashish & Jo collaboration.
Ashish gave me this pic to play with awhile ago. I use Picasa which has been frustrating me lately because they changed the formatting of their pic sizes. My pics come out mini, medium and too big for the borders of Blogger. I cannot figure out how too resize them. Except putting into Paint and then posting. If Picasa is a companion to Blogger- why?

It used to work perfectly before they "fixed" it.
Reminds me of Warhol...
"When they make new and improved - why can't they keep making the old one too?"
flickr does the same thing and it really poked at my patience. perhaps our webpix margins can be widened by the webmaster to hold the medium size photos. what i have been doing, jozee, is to edit the html so that the width is about 420 pixels and the height is adjusted to preserve the ratio.
[hm. there is something in my eye. for real. ow. not one of those things, though]
You don't need to resize the photo. Just create a blogger post as usual then edit the HTML to make the image fit.
Look for something like <img src="[URL of your picture]" />. Find the attribute starting with "style=", then add this inside the quotes:
width=400px;height=300px
Hi guys, I used to do pics in Picasa and then post through Hello but I can't get that to work for me lately either.
I understand what you are saying about the html I have done adjustments like that before . In this case the only numbers I see which might be dimensions after source are these: /494/733/1024/huge%20nails.
Any attempts to change these numbers doesn't work.
Blogger won't let me post the whole html here and various adjustments to it won't work .What I've given may not be sufficent to resolve this.
I just feel very frustrated about this because it used to work so beautifully and now it's been changed and I feel left in limbo.
I also feel like a big idiot with all my wackily sized posts.
Thank you all for your input.
Hope everyone with afflicted eyes feels better!
Jozee: What you want is something this: <img src="http://photos1.blogger.com/blogger/
494/733/1024/huge%20nails.jpg" alt="" style="display: block; text-align: center; width: 400px; height: 300px;" border="0" />
Add the stuff that's in bold. It has to go inside the quotation marks, after the "style=". Don't put any carriage returns between the < and the >.
Thanks, Gary I'll give it a try.
