Jo, I do think the humidity is affecting your brain! You should stop doing that, though I have no idea what it is, so maybe it's better to continue because I have no idea of the consequences if you stop... Don't stop Jo! Go Jo! :O)))))
OMG! First time Mr. Calvin is asking that question! I'm so excited! So: It was on... (wait, I'll check) December 31, 2005. Freezing outside... (wait, I'll check the meteo archives) around -10F (-23C). Hee, hee, you never have that in NC... I have a little verandah at the back door of my apartment, but not an open one, there is big windows in it. The normal windows are not suppose to do that unless they really are badly insulated. But those windows don't need to be insulated, I don't usually sit there in winter. So I went into my veranda and took some pics, that's all... :O) ..... Ok, I admit, a little ACDSee... I mostly work on the contrast.
brock: That title is part of one of the best well known poetry of Emile Nelligan, one of our greatest poet in Québec Province. You'll see part of it here. I did that post last January, but with two other pics.
Clo, You give me feelings with this pic. I grew up in a bedroom with frost like that. My mind goes back to a room in a very old house in the 1970's. Too much square footage to heat with the one wood burning cookstove in the kitchen. My poor mother!
