Oh yeah, I've collected a ton of lps and yet to get myself a (working) turntable. This takes me back to when I was a boy and my mom would take me to the local Kmart and let me pick out a single (seven inch record) if I was well behaved on a particular day. Needless to say it seemed to have started a lifelong obsession/love of music. Thanks mom!
given a choice amongst vinyl, cassette, cd and mp3, i would always prefer vinyl. so warm like being blown through a heavenly trumpet is the sound for me..
i've only got about a hundred vinyl. but they are precious to me. anyone have cocteau twins on vinyl they want to sell? oh lord, i have turned this lovely photo into a swap shop.
Ha ha! This is a lovely photo indeed and I see it as something that has instigated an exchange of ideas and experiences.
Cocteau Twins on vinyl? I wish I had some. Only got some of their cds. If you don't have it yet Christopher, you should try tracking down their cdep which was a collaboration with ex-Seefeel member Mark Clifford called "Otherness". The title kind of somes it up!
