brock: i do indeed have a frame fetish. there is so much to this image that i dare not even utter a word about it. anyone who has followed my usage will catch some of this. though even aesthetically it is worthwhile, i suppose.

and i cannot believe i got a 'superb' out of judith. humbled..
i tell you, madam merlinprincesse, you know how when you inhabit a space and it is still kind of new for you; and you..you *see* something in certain locations? like there is some glow there, or something magnetic. and you take out your camera and you are not quite sure where to aim or what you are looking for? this is what i felt here, with the door. there was something here that i had to capture, but i did not know how to do it. i still think i failed here, but it is still a pretty good piece. merci..
It is certainly not a failure when so many people love it! It could be different, you could do more pic of it, but that precise moment will always be unique... The moment when you take a pic in a certain place that inspires you is magic! :)
