Sad, what has come to pass. Simple kayakers being chased.

In this case it really is a matter of public safety. Over the years a number of planes have crashed into the lake during the Air Show.

Okay, thought it was about Homeland Security.

Jozee, we don't have a DHS here.

Well, I know that's a US Dept but you know it seems the world is just getting more and more paranoid on a daily basis.

I don't think it's just about terrorism. Whenever my cam comes out people look at me,then look around to see what I could possibly be shooting, wondering if I'm shooting them etc.
With all the reality shows and secret vids I've seen on You Tube I somewhat understand.
Seems everyone's going to get their 15 minutes of fame whether it's authorized or not.
People worry about their intellectual property even if they have none- it seems.

I know what you mean, Jozee. Paranoia strikes deep.

It was funny to watch, though: The kayakers paddling along, the police boat maintaining a stately pace and a respectful distance. When the kayak strayed into the no-sail zone, the police sounded their siren. The kayakers corrected their course. The police continued on their rounds.
