This is a great photo that makes you think. The door to nowhere and the guy standing under it with his red umbrella... makes you go "huh?" I wonder if he thinks that if someone opens that door and steps out, his umbrella will protect him :)
Cool! It's almost exactly the same. How funny. The door I shot used to lead into an old five and dime (Woolworths). I wonder if merchandise was loaded in or trash was removed that way? Check out this longshot the windows in the background are amazingly similar I think.
how interesting--the surrounding architecture is so very similar. It seems to imply that there is some sort of industrial design standard being employed here. I'd like to see Heather's too, if she can find it again.
My portal [wink to Judith] was found on the fringe of campus, across the street from a tall building whose basement houses some physics labs.
