To answer your question -- yes, this IS California, or as we call it -- the "left" coast... This is Mount Tamalpias -- the centerpiece of Marin County -- just north of the Golden Gate Bridge... If you were to keep going northwest, you would soon come to Point Reyes National Seashore -- another great and wild place... It's a great place, and I'm lucky to live here... Lots of photo opportunities...
