"The church is never a place, but always a people; never a fold but always a flock; never a sacred building but always a believing assembly. The church is you who pray, not where you pray. A structure of brick or marble can no more be the church than your clothes of serge or satin can be you. There is in this world nothing sacred but man, no sanctuary of man but the soul. Makes me feel as if Im on my back... GREAT shot!
Jozee that quote made my mouth drop...wow!
this is really good, steve.
Interesing Jozee but I digress. For me, church is a place within my heart--my soul. My reverence here is MY prayer.
Steve, what you've said is precisely what I understood your photo and the quote to mean.
I know understanding is subjective though so please forgive me for making you feel that I've made an assumption for you.
