That's one of the mystery stops for me. i always get off at islington or kipling. yes, mystery stops, meaning, i have no idea what sort of cityscape or jungle or desert one will discover if one were to get off there and emerge from the underground. Old Mill is another mystery stop. i always imagine that in getting off there one will discover on the surface, a tiny windmill kingdom. It probably however, like the Royal York stop, resembles the rest of toronto.
chris: Old Mill is actually one of my favourite stations, even though I hardly ever get off there. That bridge over the river, that 1960's architecture, that glassed-in platform with the bird silhouettes... Lovely.
But alas, no tiny windmill kingdom. Just a condo and a banquet hall.
