dang power-lines!! when you go back to re-do [read: perfect(v.)] all your photos in preparation for a book or some showing, you might want to consider a carefully applied vignette that obscures the top portion of the frame, just so the lines aren't so apparent. Not necessary, but it's an option.
oh kimble...what a shot, one that i wish i had taken. the powerlines only add to it in my humble pod-like opinion...i love it,,and yes..a little wizzus zuz zoz (as my mum used to say)

great photo, kimberley.
brings to mind The Wizard of Oz...the lack of colour at the top portion with the transition into colour...the small house in a field...
I really like this Kimberly, well done
Kimberley ... THAT IS GREAT!!!!! I love this ....

Wow, nice!
I like the power lines, too. Their diagonal at the top left echoes the shape of the dark shadows at the bottom right.
I just read these comments after posting. Guess the power lines must have made an effect in my subconcious!
This is a great shot edited or not!
it's pretty easy to remove those powerlines with Photoshop, but personally I'd leave them in -- I think they probably add an element to the photo...
I love that light :)
