dang power-lines!!
when you go back to re-do [read: perfect(v.)] all your photos in preparation for a book or some showing, you might want to consider a carefully applied vignette that obscures the top portion of the frame, just so the lines aren't so apparent. Not necessary, but it's an option.

brings to mind The Wizard of Oz...the lack of colour at the top portion with the transition into colour...the small house in a field...

I like the power lines, too. Their diagonal at the top left echoes the shape of the dark shadows at the bottom right.

it's pretty easy to remove those powerlines with Photoshop, but personally I'd leave them in -- I think they probably add an element to the photo...
