Nice closeup is it in formaldehyde?
This is a really neat composition and great photo, but personally, I don't like snakes -- never have and never will... Oh, I'm sure they serve some wonderful purpose in "the scheme of things", but they are one critter I can do without...
thanks guys. I thought it was Jozee, but according to the person who works at the naturalist center, it was in alcohol.
a lot of people share your sentiment aphotoaday. i like 'em all, but some much more than others--mainly the more passive kind--they're kind of cute actually. we fear what's different from us, and sometimes for good reason (in the case of a python, or timberland rattler, or cobra, etc). thanks for the kind words though!
