we call them columbines though we don't have the same colors you do. lovely!
Here we have them in all kind of colours, deep purple and even very light pink ones. I had a very large garden. Love the gardening work. No garden at all now. Maybe some day....
after i saw your pic here i noticed some lovely pink columbines at walmart, may go back to get some after i plant the pansies and violas i got on saturday. it's easy to buy more than i can plant - have to be careful.
my gardens are making a comeback after a couple of years of neglect. so sorry you no longer have a garden. i've moved many times and left many gardens behind. not the easiest thing to do. i hope you find a patch of dirt to work soon! :)
I will some day, I even knew all the latin names, they fade away.
