That was my question, real? I mean I know it's a real picture but is it a living Raccoon? He looks a little off, not like I'm used to seeing them. I'm not sure it's healthy -- or perhaps the philosophy lecture didn't agree with it.
hahaha. this is a photograph of an actual racoon, everyone! what is totally amusing is that in the lecture, though this is coincidental, the professor was badmouthing racoons.
That's a great shot -- really cute raccoon, but my attitude about raccoons changed three or four years ago when mama raccoon and her two babies moved in above my ceiling... It was quite a project to finally get them all out... Then the squirrels moved in because, I guess the little space was available, so I got to also evict the squirrels and patch up where they were getting in... --Don't know why I had to tell you all of that, but there you go...

raccoons that are awake in the daytime are usually rabid. your prof better watch out!
