Girl in the mountains

Afther a few hours climbing we met this little girl all alone .
She didn't speak at all .
Several hours later an old woman took her with her down to village.
Would you leave your 5 years old daughter alone in the middle of nowhere ?

Little girl wow what an amazing shot of raw realness...and would I? "H" NO..But I see people doing things consistantly with their kids Id never think of doing, in this circumstance I think it is alot to do ith cultural difference but either way that is just NOT ok!

I would never leave my child in the wilderness.
Although this little girl doesnot look upset. I think she is used to be left alone. I also think it is a cultural matter.
Maybe we protect our children too much??? My addult children complained by saying, mom you were always around; what is good; I don't know. The picture are so real and wonderful

I agree with the comments of my fellow ladies up here. And maybe, for that little girl, that environment is not a wild big mountain? Maybe for her, it's her playground? Well, I hope...

yes, to her that's probably just one big back yard. but here in the states i don't let my children into my fenced yard alone. we have bears in suburbia and you never know what kind of scary person might wander by.

I see that only the mothers on webpix give a reaction :)..
I was always concerned about my kids when they where young.
The area where we found this girl was so big and rough and high that I was more than suprised to see her here..
