springtime in Lucas Valley



Lucas Valley is about 15 miles north of the Golden Gate Bridge, just west of Highway 101...   Now, Lucas Valley was named at least 80 years before George Lucas was even born, but the headquarters of his movie empire is located just on the other side of the fence from where I shot these photos...

Wild little factoid. So many gorgeous places to see your way--thanks for at least bringing some of the sights our way. I was actually thinking of the scene in "return of the Jedi" with the speeder bike chase and Ewoks--the Endor segments, when you shared some forest pics a little while back.
