Thanks, Trijnie and Gary for the compliments... To answer your question, Gary, this was taken from a cliff, just north of Black Sands Beach -- which is about a mile north of the Golden Gate Bridge... Hiking down to the beach is good exercise, but not many people go there, and there is a good view of ships coming in and out of the Golden Gate... Curiously, this one specific area has black sand (sort of like Hawaii) -- but I can't tell you why...
Such a pleasure to sea, er, I mean see! :/
