Bing Kong Tong Society building

I took a little trip yesterday over to Isleton, California, which is on the Sacramento River...   The plaque on the wall reads:   This bulding dates from 1927 when it was rebuilt after a fire in 1926...   The upper floor served the Chineese population as a center for religious and social activities.   The Toy family operated a store two doors west called the Quong Wo Sing Co...   After they moved here from Truckee in the 1880's, they supplied food and goods to the community and labor camps in the area...   The Brannan Andrus Historical Society has plans to restore the building...
