Yeah, I knew that was a real "keeper" the minute I shot it... And all I did was point and shoot -- well I think I had an aperture priority of f-5.6 using manual focus, an ISO of 500, and probably a shutter speed of 1/15th, but other than that, all I did was to "be there", "point", and "click"... These ripples were made on an overcast day -- usually they will pick up greens and blues from the surroundings... One thing I've learned -- to get this type of reflection shot, it needs to be in the shade, if indeed, the sun is out... I don't think I got the vegetation in the foreground in very good focus, but I think the photo stands on it's own "artistic license"... The Lagunitas Creek is a really great place, and I've probably taken hundreds of photos like this... Now I'm shooting with a Canon5D, so I'm hoping to be able to make fairly large prints... Fun, fun, fun...

Love both of these the first is my favorite though the white flowers are great!
