Oh, Hi, Trijnie and Judith --

Thanks, and Judith, this is located at what is probably the most remote spot around here... McClure's Beach is the very last beach -- the end of the road -- at the northern part of Point Reyes National Seashore... I've been exploring some of the places in Marty Knapp's wonderful "coffee-table" book on his 20 years of photographing the Point Reyes area... So, anyway, to get to this particular spot, you walk south on McClures beach about three hundred yards to the rocks, then go through a narrow passageway that takes you around the bend to another beach, that is more rocky shoreline than sandy beach... The requirement is low tide -- other times you can only get a view of the rocky shoreline... When the tide is out it's fun to explore for starfishes and mussels... Just keep an eye on the tide, or a poor photographer could easily get caught...
