Yep, in this area, and most of the west coast, deer are extremely common... They come walking through my yard all the time and often bed-down on the hillside below me...
I found this sweetie on a new trail I was exploring out at Bolinas... And even though I was using my zoom, I was still very close... The deer patiently let me get my pictures, and then went back to munching on weeds...
