It looks fluffy and soft, but it can get quite heavy. I'm stiff and sore from shovelling it from our driveway.
The City of Toronto is spending $5 million just to clean up after the storm. There are 5200km of city streets to plow, and 10000 tonnes of salt to spread. That doesn't include the major highways, which are the Province's responsibility.
Last time it snowed this much, we called in the Army to help clear it. People are still laughing at us for that :-(
