That's a place I'd like to explore - the New York Botanical Gardens... (never thought I'd enjoy visiting gardens -- I always thought that was just reserved for old people, but now that I AM an old person, 62 next month, they're right-up-my-alley...)

There's all sorts of fun at the NYBG all year.
The train show is great for kids aged 4 - 444.
