Jealous again. Blue flowers! *very loud* I DON'T WANT DANDELIONS! I WANT HESPERIS SOMETHING OR BLUE PAVOT OR BLUE ROSES OR BLUE...ok ok I stop... Blue is my fav colour... *snif*
csb, I have to convert because I think in American inches, feet, miles and gallons but yes some of us (especially those with science and technical backgrounds) do know metric units or at least use them where and when applicable. I'd have rather said ~1.5 inches because precision wasn't needed but I knew that at least 6 of the folks here operate in metric, so I converted. You're welcome ;^)

Dame's Rocket (Hesperis matronalis)?
You know, a friend of mine in New Orleans calls these lantanas. She made bridal bouquets for her Barbie dolls with them.
very pretty shade of blue
madam josie would know.
I think these are much smaller than that Gary.
What your are talking about are 45 cm or more tall I suspect these are only about 7.5 cm
I love the color
Those look an awful lot like the flowers we call forget me nots here.
Though the foliage looks bigger.
Very pretty shot.
