Today is the 3 month anniversary of my owning a camera and coaxing it into capturing scenes for me. In celebration i will leave this digi-eye on the bed, and instead spend the day merely observing. yes, he shan't take photos today. Of course, now that i say this a series of fantastical events will commence. flying saucers flying outside, Titian's Venus walking by the threshold of my door, that sort of stuff.

I saw a flying saucer over Humber Bay yesterday afternoon. Unfortunately, I was driving in heavy traffic so I couldn't get a picture. It disappeared after a few minutes.

(Actually it was a lenticular cloud, which is a rare phenomenon in our part of the world.)

Now, that's big.

Will there be cake and ice cream for the celebration?

I saw one over Atlanta while on Interstate 20 one morning.
It was a very large bluish metallic sphere.
I watched it for over a minute before it shot away into the distance at high speed.
A week later I saw it again in the same place and time of day but traffic was completely stopped, this time I got to see it turn and become what looked like a ball. What it turned out to really be was a silver American Airlines aircraft and at a certain angle in it's holing pattern into Atalnta's airpirt it reflected light and then truned some more and became a pin point that wasn't reflective.

Now if we want to bring in apparitions and ghosts, I've got some real stories. And of course the vampires that used to live next door.

Gary Smugmug is one of the few places I've seen that offer 8x12 prints.

Gary- I just hunted down smugmugs printing house and it's here in Georgia where I live.
No need for me to join smugmug unless I decide to sell images online.

Paul G: Smugmug makes no secret about outsourcing its printing. They did a lot of research before choosing EZPrints.

Smugmug is an image hosting and online gallery site aimed at professionals as well as serious amateurs. As such, they offer comprehensive support services for photographers and their customers.

You may not need this level of service. But if you want to join, you can save $5 by using this coupon code: rOECLWbsc4otI -- and I'll get a $10 kickback from smugmug.

Gary, I now it's no secret, smugbug is very open about it - and I appreciate it.
The annual fee they charge is outside my reasonable means, unless I'm charging for my photos.
If I were selling I'd be right there.
Since I'm not and ezprints.com provides everthing I need it makes more sense for me to go there especially since I have my own server for what I do and all I want is professional printing in the formats I require.
I appreciate the offer but it's overkill at this time.
