That was one of my dad's colorful expressions. Sometimes these things just pop in my head.

Hee, hee, and I found a cool translation for teakettle: "a lawyer that sings pornographic love songs in a falsetto voice". That's from Urban Dictionary again... I know, I should not look in that stupid dictionary...

It means to take a fall. A tumbling fall.
One more expression comes to mind though unrelated. Just another one of his odd expressions...when something is insignifigant...it doesn't amount to a pisshole in the snow.
