I was at an art exhibition in the Public Library in Québec. There was the big room, and before the entrance of it, a passage with some art exhibited. But on the other side of the wall, big windows and the outside with trees, leaves on the ground and lights. Because there was light outside for the tree and the ground, that was making a very special effect. I picked my camera. The lady who was doing the checking in the exhibition told me it was not possible to take pics of the paintings, but I just told her I was going to do pics of the outside... :O) It's funny because I know the lady who was in charge of this event, called "Ateliers ouverts" (Open Studio), and she gave me the authorization to take pics...
So I asked my daughter to pose in front of the painting. The only repair I did on the pic was at the top of the legs of my daughter... But I like that her feet look like they are in the leaves.
This was the collective exhibition, but there was about 30 artist's studio open to public. That was a very interresting event. :O)
heather: Art museum are very inspiring. I especially like to take picture of people looking at art... Go see this one, from Robert Doisneau, one of my favorite...
