Well thanks, Mightybob for the compliment! I shot this yesterday on a little hike near Point Reyes Station... The wildflowers here in California are absolutely spectacular this year -- I can't remember when they have been so prolific... It's just a theory, but I have a sneaking suspicion that the wildflowers already know that we are in for a very harsh winter or some other horrible cosmic event... I think they may be making sure they have sown enough seed so they will be able to carry on...
