Ohhhhh! That's a fantastic selfportrait! I just love it! And the colors....

Chris, when they'll do the book about your photography, tell them to put this one on the cover! :O)

If photography is a craft, i don't think that i have been engaging in it for a while now. It has been like polishing hubcaps and changing the oil and playing with the windshield wipers--and not ever turning the key. how long will he -- and now he makes a mess of metaphors--sharpen his pencils before pressing one to a page?

thank-you, '.'.
[and i nearly inserted, here, a swatch of my skin to illustrate that it does not really take this hue!]

too kind, clo!
i mean, cloclo [really? a clown?].
O.k, i promise. if i ever wish to publish these pieces, and if a book publisher is so drunken that he offers to do so, i will let you choose the cover!!

el caballito, ratze, es un regalo de una libélula. gracias.

i think, heather, that i have a squishier mouth than does he. If a blogger named JB4000 leaves a comment suggesting otherwise, do not believe it. merely spam. *ahem*
but yes, i built the strap from used parts; and yes the necklace is precious to me. I am never without it. el caballito de mar swims in the cavern slice, under my shirt and against my chest; and it tickles there as i move about; and so even when unseen its presence is felt.

Split subject and focus but the composition holds together very nicely not in spite of it, but because of it.
