Hi Missy, You know, when I first saw your label of "spittalfields" I immediately associated it with "spit" or "spittle" -- so I had to Google "spittalfields" to find out that it is a very unique little shopping and eating area that is undergoing a controversial renovation that will replace the little stall-shops with something more modern and trendy... What a shame... --But am still wondering about the name -- perhaps it is derived from "Spitz Road" which borders it on one side... In any case my first reaction will probably still stick in my head -- where the Brits go to spit... I'll bring my boots...

aphototoday - to be honest, I'm not sure where the name comes from but maybe Mr Wiki can help us?

griesmail - it's a recount of mundane events mostly...
You always have such a unique perspective on things.
Is it a vinyl record, is it a race track, is it the rut I find myself stuck in, is it a maze? No it's an unexpected perspective: hurray!
Love that photo. I may steal it for a desktop if that's ok with you?
